Citizen Conflict released a new update today, which is currently live on the Epic Games Store. This latest patch brings a range of improvements to the game as the race for the $1.6 million $QORPO tournament prize pool heats up.Players downloading the latest update can enjoy increased XP rewards, refined shooting mechanics, and a new Poseidon map, alongside upgrades to the battle royale mode. The additional XP comes from the increased XP rewards for both daily and weekly challenges, just in time for the final week in which Takeover Mode XP will count toward the tournament leaderboard.<div class="raw-html-embed"><blockquote class="twitter-tweet">Citizens, the new patch is live, the servers are online, and we’ve fully regained control of this account again! Though the battle royale mode was late to arrive in <a href="https://funjible.games/games/Citizen-Conflict">Citizen Conflict</a>, it’s set to become the primary competitive format rather quickly.<a href="https://funjible.games/news/citizen-conflict-finally-gets-battle-royale-playtest">Citizen Conflict initially got a battle royale playtest</a> back in January, meaning the mode is still relatively new for the existing player base. However, the <a href="https://funjible.games/news/citizen-conflict-gets-new-update-ahead-of-1-6-m-tournament">1.6 million $QORPO tournament</a> will likely serve as the ultimate motivation for players as they adapt to the battle royale game mode.<h2>New Content Complements the Economy Improvements</h2>Game updates and tournaments aside, QORPO has also been working toward making its ecosystem more sustainable. Most recently, <a href="https://funjible.games/news/qorpo-world-implements-major-buyback-and-burn-strategy">QORPO World implemented a major buyback and burn strategy</a> that can also benefit play-to-earn-focused players. Compared to its rivals, QORPO has been operating in a rather difficult landscape.
